As well as journalism, from time to time I work with private companies that need someone to help them with commercial writing projects. This isn’t the main thrust of my job, but feel free to get in touch if you have a writing job that you need some help with.
In my experience, companies are often so close to the story of what they do, that they find it difficult to see that story clearly. Someone coming from the outside can often help put that story in fresh terms and help make it easier to communicate.
I can help with public relations and marketing type activities that involve writing, as well as copywriting for everything from websites and brochures right up to full books. I’ve worked with companies in the technology, communications and telecommunications sectors, and references are available should they be necessary.
